Babies and Toddlers Aquatics Program
Babies and toddlers require nurturing, supportive environments to reach their full potential. Early exposure to infant aquatics offers numerous benefits, with research showing that child-paced swimming lessons can enhance concentration, alertness, coordination, and cognitive development.
Our Babies and Toddlers program introduces essential water safety and aquatic skills in a fun, caring environment. We emphasize teaching, supervision, and building confidence in and around water. Guided by our philosophy—“teach the children, educate the whanau, change the culture”—we aim to empower families with knowledge, foster safe habits, and work toward a future with zero drownings in this age group.
The program features three progressive levels, tailored to age, developmental milestones, and aquatic ability. Grounded in active movement principles, it supports physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth while building foundational swimming and water safety skills.
