What You Need to Know
We believe clear communication helps everyone feel confident and supported. This section outlines Little Dippersโ policies and procedures, including class guidelines, safety standards, and administrative processes.
1. Registration and Enrolment
To enroll in our classes, please complete our enrolment form and submit it along with the required fees or contact us at littledippersswim@gmail.com.
2. Refund and Cancellation
We offer refunds under special circumstances such as serious injury or illness.
A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied to those students who cancel after term has started and beyond.
3. Payment and Billing
Payments are due on or before the start of every term.
Payments can be done via online banking, cash, or eftpos at the pool.
10% discount will be given to a family if 3 or more siblings are enrolled.
4. Punctuality and Attendance
Students should arrive on time for their lessons to maximize their learning experience.
In the event a student cannot attend a scheduled class due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, parents or guardians are encouraged to notify the swim school as early as possible.
5. Behavior and Conduct
Students are expected to follow instructions, respect others, and adhere to safety rules during lessons.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after lessons.
6. Health and Safety
We prioritize the health of our students and staff. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or illnesses that may affect participation in our classes.
Appropriate swimwear such as swim caps, goggles, and appropriate swim attire, are required for all students.
All under 3's must wear a swim nappy.
7. Code of Conduct
We expect professionalism and ethical conduct from our staff and instructors. We are committed to providing a respectful and inclusive environment for all.
Make-up Sessions Policy
A maximum of two (2) make-up sessions per term are permitted for students who are absent due to illness or serious injury.
Parents/guardians must email littledippersswim@gmail.com to notify us of their childโs absence prior to the scheduled lesson.
To be eligible for a make-up session, a valid medical certificate may be required and must be submitted for approval before a make-up lesson is granted.
Approved make-up sessions will be scheduled during the following school holidays, subject to availability.
Make-up sessions cannot be carried over to the following term, unless the child is unable to participate due to a serious or long-term medical condition (e.g. broken arm, surgery, or extended recovery period). In such cases, carry-over will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and a medical certificate will be required.
Missed make-up lessons will be counted as attended and cannot be rescheduled.
