About Little Dippers

Little Dippers Aquatic Centre provides world-class swimming lessons and classes to all age groups (infants of 3 months old to adults) and abilities all year round. All sessions are carefully programmed to teach aquatic skills, encourage water safety, as well as develop self-confidence, nurture happiness, and contribute charismatically toward all areas of everyone’s swimming development. Our highly trained and experienced swimming teachers all strongly believe in the philosophy of a warm, loving, and safe learning environment.

All classes are provided in our indoor heated pool that is purpose-built for swimming and water safety tuition. Its depth ranges from 0.9 to 1.3 meters and the temperature is 32 degrees year-round. The aquatic centre is accessible for parents or caregivers to keep a close eye on their swimmers.

HISTORY

Little Dippers opened on the 17th of August in 2003, by owners Karla and Aaron McCaughan. They moved to Kerikeri bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in swim teaching, coaching, and pool management. Since its opening, over 13.000 students have been taught to swim, and a strong foundation has been laid for high-quality aquatic programs to continue to serve the Northland Community.
