Water Safety at Northland Schools

Monday the 19th of October was the kick-off to the TOP Energy Watersafe Program which Little Dippers is responsible for delivering to 17 Northland schools. The program is funded by Sport Northland and aims to improve the water safety knowledge and skills of children in our region.

Our staff members will be delivering these Water Safety sessions for new entrants through to intermediate school children through to April 2021. We have been working really hard to make this program both educational and fun. We have been really happy with the deliveries so far and have received some great feedback.

We cannot stress enough the need for active supervision and of course a collaborative approach to this important topic.
